Dreams.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I spent mine enjoying the beautiful sunshine while touring gorgeous luxurious homes of the Twin Cities. Touring these homes and seeing the pretty princess girls' bedroom brought me back to my childhood dreams of having a room with a secret hideaway to show my friends, a window seat to read my books, and a four post bed with sheer drapery that was fit for a princess. 

Once a dreamer, always a dreamer. While I toured the homes, I took a moment to picture my adult self in the enormous kitchen with a chandelier, white cabinets and dark, slightly furbished wood floors that overlooked the lake while my children played on the expensive play set in the backyard. For now and maybe for always, I am so content in my quaint townhouse with my kitty cat and amazing husband. It is a beautiful life. Transition your wardrobe ... the right way!

Can you believe that spring is just around the corner?! I cannot wait for green grass, open windows and friend gatherings around a bonfire. As the warm weather starts to come upon us, we'll need to start dressing the part. But don't jump to your spring wardrobe just yet. Instead, trade your chunky sweater in for a lightweight three-quarter length sleeve sweater. Give your skinny jeans a break and throw on your ankle pants. Put away your peacoat and bring out your trench coat. These simple changes will keep you fashionably dressed for the season. Don't worry ... spring dresses and floral shirts will have their moment before we know it!
